Hi all.
Like many of you, I've been waiting 30 years for Dune to be made into a real movie. I stopped waiting and have been writing a screenplay.
Please take a look at my web-page at http://www.dunethemovie.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and provide comments/feedback.
Thanks

Re: DunetheMovie.com
Thanks for sharing this with us. Unfortunately, in so short a segment, all that really stands out are spelling errors ('Freeman' instead of 'Fremen', 'Stilsuit' instead of 'stillsuit') and two deviations from the book that may or may not be intentional: Paul is 15 in the book, not in his twenties. And Castle Caladan is nowhere near the sea.
The opening is very ... appetizing, but all previous adaptations have suffered from serious problems derived from Frank Herbert's exposition-heavy mode of storytelling, and I haven't seen your script tackle those yet.

Soon the HLP will be knocking on your door.
