The final fracking season!
Just over 24 hours until it starts.
I could totally see the Cylons betraying humanity, fucking everyone over like the cold-hearted machines that it turns out they actually are. Would be a nice, and bitter ending to the series. I mean, the latter half of season 3 left me so disappointed, that I can hardly sympathize for most of the characters who still happen to be human. I won't be surprised if the show crashes like a jet into the Hudson River, but I do have hope for a solid ending.

Ah, thanks for the reminder Drunken Idaho.
I do have faith this will turn out well. Yeah, season 3 was definitely the weakest of the seasons, but season 4 was back in top form. I have to catch up on the webisodes too! I've only watched the first three for this season.

are the DVDs of the last season in stores yet ?
made no sense to me, I'd'a thought they'd release those before
Christmas. I'm DVRing all the stuff today, tho, but I have all the
other seasons' boxes. Wonder how long it will take them to release
this new season ? About the time the spinoff airs, probably .....

hell, no. Recap, please.
I'm on dial-up, the wireless tower is blocked by a mesa,
and I've had the hughesnet people out here twice this
years, but they pissed me off and I ran them off the ranch.
I skip all the youtube stuff because I'm too damn impatient.

BSG has gone from "must-watch live" ... to "watch it later that night" ... to "watch it the next day" ... to "whatever." The TiVo is set, but I have very little optimism that the producers can pull something out of their asses. The whole thing has become a ridiculous game of "guess the next stupid Cylon reveal!"
This show has jumped more than one shark. More proof that TV people can screw anything up. Idiots.

These are pretty well-done, actually.

I guess I'm in your camp, Duke. I'd been semi-excited about the
new season, being the end and all - but I've had the SciFi channel
on all day thruout the house, halfway watching all the last shows.
Now my buddies have called saying they're heading out to the
Deadhorse early - So I guess I'll watch the thing on DVR tomorrow.
Revoke my BSG fanboy status.

You're opinion has been duly noted. Fortunately, most people think your opinion sucks. Now back the frak off and quit harshing my mellow.TheDukester wrote:Not me.Spicelon wrote:I AM STOKED!!!

Good article in the Chicago Tribune about the episode. Looks like she really is the final cylon, unless RM is just frakking with us.

The whole series (especially the webisodes) seemed to fuel my belief that he was a cylon. Turns out he's just as pathetic as he always appeared without any kind of cool back story or reason.
It makes me wonder what some of the awkward blocking and camera angles that seemed to focus on Gaeta were all about throughout the last 4 seasons.
