That was beautiful. That's really all any reader needs to know. I get the feeling that everyone's tired of trying to summarize their bullshit now. I've noticed most of the "reviews" for their books now are just simple summaries and no longer even try to critique them. Fans of theirs wouldn't understand a critique anyway.TheDukester wrote:All I needed to know; I stopped reading there. Thanks, Amazon!SandChigger wrote:With their usual skill ...

Man I should have read this earlier... they(KJA) wants to make Bronso an antagonist? Bronso's role started and ended in the first few pages of Dune Messiah. There were HUNDREDS OF OTHERS JUST LIKE HIM. It was my interpretation of that interview that it was representative of what was happening in the priesthood, the movement to quell all rebellion.
So basically, suggesting that Bronso was some kind of historian popular movement ringleader is...actually kinda par for what they've been doing to Dune. Sadly.
I hope it doesn't take Alia and Jessica 200-effing pages to realize that Bronso is being shuttled around on Guild ships. It probably will.

OMG, it was an "in case you forgot what happened in the last book" chapter.
Take note, KJA: FH did one for the previous book, not for each of the previous chapters, you dumb fuck.
I guess Hadi Bennoto, the archeologist who read from Leto's Journals in the first chapter of GEoD is going to be made into a main character too?

Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.

I kinda figured the context (this very forum we're on and what it's all about) would do that job.Freakzilla wrote:It's easier to pick up on your emotion across the internet when smilies are used.
(Actually, I was baiting anyone to see if they'd take me seriously, in which case I'd go into details why the new books are "good". But with three people not getting my sarcasm after the time [I've been here] I decided it wouldn't be a fun joke [without a majority of people in on it])
