Yeah, I like it. I like the mountains, the fall foliage. I'm on the western side, so Pittsburgh and Erie are easily accessible.Freakzilla wrote:Like it there?Slugger wrote:PA.Freakzilla wrote:Where at?Slugger wrote:I second that.Freakzilla wrote:-5 UTC (EST)

Not that I'm turning down crack... that's a subject for another topic.

Huh? If it has anything to do with my wife I claim lack of interest.
I went HIKING on the Appalacian Trail right after I got out of the US Army, in PA. Most beautifully fuckin country I've ever seen. Even with the lightening storm that lost most of my party. Bunch of KJA non-hackers. I found them after it was all over cowering in a stream.
The damned place looked like a tie-dyed greatfull dead tee-shirt (October).
I saw god.
They also took me to a place called the "pine barrens"? There was a "MOON TOWER". maybe that was in NJ. I did a lot of HIKING back then.
SUCK IT KEVIN.

yes, the South will rise again ...
and stumble around the living room,
finally finding the remote,
then settling back down on the sofa ....

I recently found out while in North Carolina that there is a difference between a Yankee and a "damned" Yankee, the preference to the former.Freakzilla wrote:THE SOUTH SHALL RISE AGIAN!
Not much of a hiking fan myself, but I do enjoy trekking out into woods and just sitting. The country here is beautiful.Freakzilla wrote:I went HIKING on the Appalacian Trail right after I got out of the US Army, in PA. Most beautifully fuckin country I've ever seen. Yankee: a Northerner who visits the South then leaves.

I used to live in Greenwich until earlier this year. I can't think of anywhere better as the centre of the world's time zones.

Seriously, though, I do so hope y'all will be kind and help us out with lots of pointers as we, too, become a former great power.

Better than the South, I live in Missouri, where the confederate sympathizers were chased by the German Union-sympathizers to the southern boot, and slaughtered. We also had two governors at one point. Also, your get a trailer when you move here. No joke.
Until the later part of the war, the only troops in Missouri were Missouri militias who sympathized with one or the other. Pretty much just fun times.

The Missouri Compromise was one of the events leading to the War of Northern Agression.

You should ask the Spanish for tips.Seriously, though, I do so hope y'all will be kind and help us out with lots of pointers as we, too, become a former great power.
The Brits cope quite well with being a former great power. No matter what colour or creed, we all have an innate sense of our superiority, which comes from being so close geographically to the French.
