It is the emblem of Gondor. The white tree with seven stars and a crown above it.

That's what I'd figured, the only thing I couldn't remember off the top of my head was the number of stars.

Moria is very similar, also having seven stars and a crown. Had to check my copy for the drawing.

I don't know if he did it elsewhere but Tolkien didn't include a picture of Gondor's emblem in the books, he only described it.

The only place it hurt was one star that was on the shoulder blade on my right side - for the most part it was just an annoying scratching sensation. Of course near the spine the irritation grew worse, but it definitely was worth seeing the final product.

I found the center of my chest to be the worst so far, the little I have on my neck was unpleasant too, plus the sides of my stomach hurt a fair bit. I found my one arm fine, almost fell asleep, but the other arm I had a really violent (but good) artist, so it hurt pretty decently!

And the ones I did myself sucked, partially because I was doing it to myself, partially because I had no godsdamned clue what I was doing with that machine!
