I was kidding about it being KJA. I don't think he cares what FH fans think, obviously.

I didn't need that, my date was holding it himself.

Are we? I half expected to read "Kevin J. Anderson answers the talifans." After all, jaded and petty is his MO

I think this comic strip kinda predates the "talifan" by a least about 3-4 years.

Okay, what is up with you and that word. That's like three posts so far. Did you just pick it up from the dictionary or are you drunk right now?

Shall I take his water for the tribe, Freak, before he poops in our reservoirs?

Wouldn't the predatory fish take care of it, even if he did?

Hey, now someone named Brian just joined over there. Any connection to a certain Brian from Chig's blog? God I hope so.
Edit: By the way, to whichever one of you bastards is doing that--that's some of the funniest shit I've read in a long time. Thanks.

I doubt either "author" will dare ever show their face at DN.
Which should in itself tell you something.

Yeah. Either they're ashamed of their work or just don't have enough confidence in their Dune knowledge to debate their work with the OH.
You would think they would defend it if they honostly felt they had upheld FH's legacy. I would. I think many of us would have gone a lot easier on them if they had just admitted to their inconsistancies from the begining and said, "hey, we didn't have all the answers and this is the way we wanted to do it."

Exactly...like i said in another thread, you don't just alienate fans who are also your customers...it's bad for business...

Well, they figure they've got enough NEW fan/customers coming in that they can tell the old ones to get fooked.
Byron maintains that there's more than the Dune name selling the new books.
I guess we'll see for certain when the first book of their new non-Dune series comes out, huh?
(Actually, if you look at how Brians Thymewub series and Kevin's ten or so other recent releases last year are doing, you can already see it.)
The Ballless Blunderers.
