That's what the people at the sperm bank said to the people at the Baskin Robins next door the day their refrigerators went out.

True story.

(Not really.)

(But it is.)

(Nah.)

(Yep.)

Stilgar? Oh! Stilgar?!?

Maybe P&B are day-dreaming about having a Stilgar love child of their own...

There's more than a little of the Rocky Horror Show to your "Stilgar? Oh! Stilgar?!?" comment.

I guess this plethora of births of new Dune books we've seen over the last decade is perfectly understandable when you consider how much K&B have been f*cking Frank's books.

Um...no, I don't think that's what he was doing.

It was very primitive. Think Homo erectus.

Err...I was testing my time stamp to see why my board time was off. :P

Turns out I wasn't paying attention and had it on -1 GMT instead of +2.

Though it's still 10 minutes ahead, and I know my watches aren't that late.

The servers are in San Francisco, where they think that their time zone is ten minutes ahead of Pacific Standard.

I think that's what they do anyway. You're talking about California man, and San Francisco to boot. Its the land of fruit and nuts, hombre.

Ahp.

But I was thinking more of that old (70s?) movie about St. Francis of Ass. ;)

Actually, I was trying to make a "spanish conquerers" joke with the mention of "bloody", but it'd have been to damn long and cumbersome, not to mention I didn't have the will to search through Wiki' for useful anecdotes on bloodthirsty Franciscian missionaries.

In such cases (and casas) I've found it's usually best to go with The Spanish Inquisition.

NOBODY EXPECTS IT! :D

Err, you trying to give guests the option to post, Omph? That's, uh, inadvisable to say the least IMO.

No. Leto247 told me that he had some trouble. I was just checking things out as one of the rabble.

Hmm, says "guest" on the side. So you deleted the account afterwards?

And they may be but mere rabble, but enough rabble will eventually rise up and crush you! Viva la revolution!

Yes. I deleted the account I made after putting the post up. I can delete it if it bothers you that much. :P
