Just picked up "Man of Two Worlds" (written with BoBo) and another copy of Destination: Void. DV looked brand new, and it was only $2...had to.

I would like to find a hard back copy of Destination: Void ... I do have the 1985 penguin books paperback in a rather good condition though ( because I bought it myself as a teenager in the late eighties).smugetsu wrote:Just picked up "Man of Two Worlds" (written with BoBo) and another copy of Destination: Void. As do I. They're good, but maybe not as strong as Dune. The world/universe in which it takes place just doesn't seem as fully realized as the Duniverse did, yet they are still worth a read if you can track them down. The Half-Price Books in this area will have paperback copies pop up pretty frequently...for some reason The Lazurus Effect seems to be the easiest to find. Destination: Void was a bit trickier...had to wait several months before I found that, and almost two years passed before I saw (and bought) another copy.A Thing of Eternity wrote:I highly recommend all four of them. Highly.

Whoa that would be creepy and rad. It does look like those anatomy pictures of the human muscular system.Tleszer wrote:Nice cover. Looks like a good image for a tattoo.
Finally got a few boxes of books out of storage, got most the Dune Collection, and the illustrated dune I have is the 1978 edition. I still have a couple more boxes to go thru here at house to get all my DUNE in one place, then will photo the last few additions and post here.trang wrote:Sorry didnt respond earlier, I believe its the "new" but just any copy of the Illustrated version was wanted. If mine is the new one, I will work on getting the 1978 one. Its packed up in boxes at moment, will double check it.Askaris de Dar wrote:hi !trang wrote: the Illustrated DUNE... always wanted this version for the artwork.

I had one once, but like around the third chapter or something it just got so bad that i threw it out the window -- literally.DuneFishUK wrote:That is much better than my KJA collection. Great Honored Matre asked.
Sabanda knew the proper response to this. They had been warned. "I
will die first." She said it calmly, staring up at that ancient face the color
of a dried root left too long in the sun. Those odd orange flecks in the
crone's eyes. A sign of anger, Proctors had told her.
A loosely hung red-gold robe with black dragon figures down its open
face and red leotards beneath it only emphasized the scrawny figure they

Oops! My bad... the BG wore black or gray. Thanks for the correction:SadisticCynic wrote:Are you sure?Freakzilla wrote:Inacurate... HMs wore gray or black leotards under their robes.SadisticCynic wrote:Just concentrate on the Honoured Matre and you'll be fine.
