I LOVE that song :)

I'm feelin'
Oh, I'm feeling outshined, outshined, outshined, outshined,

AAAAAHHHHH, yeaaaaahhhaaaaaa!
I love the scene in True Romance where Brad Pit is sitting on the couch smoking a honey bear bong and the mafia walk in while it's playing on the stereo.

The guitar is great, some of the best screams in that song too.
To think, there was once a time when Christian Slater commanded a lead role in a studio film while Brad Pitt was relegated to a brief character part. :)

I really miss the days of Cornell in Soundgarden. He has an amazing voice; he's like a throwback to the rock legends of the 70s, but done alternative style. He does precious little worth listening to today, but the "You Know My Name" title track from Casino Royale was awesome.

"Arm yourself because no one else here will save you
The odds will betray you
And I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you
Are you willing to die?
The coldest blood runs through my veins
You know my name
"

I've heard his new solo album sucks but I haven't heard any of it.

We have done the impossible, and that makes us mighty.
I LOVE Firefly!

That's why we can't be beaten on Jacurutu today. Cause BB and I are just too damned pretty :)

It's a bit poo :(

---

For me the best case scenario is for the new Dune film to turn out brilliant - they 'accidentally' shoot too much footage and decide to do a Kill Bill and release it in two parts (Fall of House Atreides, Rise of Muad'dib).

And at some point in the next year we hear that Berg has fallen out with one of the co-producers and is reported to have called a certain scifi author a "meddling ****wad", told him to "get the **** out of my sight" and "don't try to come back .... you too Brian."

That would make me happy. :)

Or that Berg and Guillermo Del Toro swap projects.

Too late, my dear SandRider. I've taken too long trying to obtain a decent picture of myself for the forums that now I could never hope to live up to everyone's expectations, despite my incredible good looks :)

Besides, the thought of you with any picture of Mandy is enough to send me screaming down the streets :)

Worst part about it was, I don't watch TV so I can't complain about Faux canceling Firefly. But I do anyway, simply because they deserve the criticism :)

Got a favorite episode?

In the DVD's there was I think an extra episode with an assassin named Jubal Early, played by the guy who played Robinette on the first season of Law and Order (Stone's EADA). That was my favorite episode. I dont think it made it to air.

I didn't know Joshie baby polished up the new James Bond flick. I guess if Quantum of Solace isn't awful we can take a...um...quantum of solace in the notion that he's not, at least, a ruiner?

Except he didn't argue to make them change the title. :x

That's why I asked; I don't think I could choose a favorite either. "The Train Job", "Objects in Space", "Shindig" and "Out of Gas" are definitely up there. I think Out of Gas is when I fell in love with the actual design of the ship, which seemed ugly when I first watched the show. Now I can't imagine Serenity looking any other way :)

There is a serious problem on this board with the heavier fellows posting questionable pictures of themselves, with toilets or uplifted kilts in them. :vomit:
I blame Rush! :P

Reviews for Quantum of Solace have been mixed. But without knowing the specifics of Zetumner's contributions he's pretty much in the clear no matter what happens with the final product. He could have been responsible for the good parts or the bad parts, or had a mix of the two. It's like the ideal KJA situation

I've held my tongue on this Rush thing. But here's the argument I've being spewing for, oh, 25 years or more .....

Putting forth YYZ or Red Barchetta as an example, Neil Pert is/was the best drummer in rock music. Period.
Putting forth any piece, Geddy Lee is/was the best bassist in rock music. Period.
Alex ain't too shabby, neither, but he is the weak link, excepting Geddy's voice, which, like Willie, you either love or hate.

Considering the music, then, arrangements & themes, lyrical complexities, &etc, with the sheer technical musical talent, I'll submit that Rush is, in fact, THE GREATEST ROCK BAND OF ALL TIME.

So have I. It happens when one listens to Rush. You try to hold your tongue long enough to get to the nearest toilet before you start vomiting. :vomit:
