Re: Shut Up, Byron
Bloody hell, can no one get the name of the group right? It was M.A.R.R.S.
[uselessinfo]M.A.R.R.S got its name from the 5 initial letters of the recording artists - Martyn and Steven from the group Colourbox, and Alex, Rudi and Russell from the group A.R. Kane. They were both on the same record label at the time, 4AD, and the head of the label suggested they collaborate. In the studio however they didn't get on - in the end each group produced one song, and then passed it to the other group for them to add to it. "Pump Up the Volume" was basically a Colurbox song, with some A.R. Kane guitars in it, but Colourbox passed it on to a couple of DJs and said they could do what they liked with it as long as they got rid of the A.R. Kane stuff!! That's why there was no follow-up to "Pump Up the Volume[/uselessinfo]
Colourbox were a great group, I still have their "The Official Colurbox World Cup Theme" on my MP3player.

Good movie.
Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.

I prefer the volume up at Eleven.
