That's cool. Like the old windmill, too!
You were on the right track, but you need a link to the image itself and not the page on the hosting service. Usually they give you a link URL somewhere. Once you get that, it's easy.
(Um...you don't want to use that image as is, though, because it's over 2 MB and that's going to take forever to load and the size will throw the board page format off as well.)
I use PhotoBucket, btw, for stuff I don't host on my own site.
Here's an example URL for an image on my site:
Paste your image URL into the edit window, select/highlight it and click the Img button so that it looks like this:
Click Preview to check and you should see the image, like this:
If it looks all right, Submit.

I just went and looked at the page again. Sorry, I see now that you used the BBCode they give:
You could strip that down to
and it looks like this:
Problem solved!
Hmm...doesn't link though. Just posting their code into the edit window exactly as is seems to work now:
Code: Select all

I knew it was big, didn't realize it was that big - and I had thought of it; I had intended to edit theChig wrote:(Um...you don't want to use that image as is, though, because it's over 2 MB and that's going to take forever to load and the size will throw the board page format off as well.)
post and remove the link, anyway, but you got in there while I was off Over There, looking for
things to ridicule.
That's what I did the first time, just pasted the code, but it didn't work at all, and that's when IChig wrote:Just posting their code into the edit window exactly as is seems to work now:
got to messing with it. That image-hosting service is built into or added onto the other board.
I like it, it gives you a smaller, lower res picture to put in the post, and links to the hosting site
for the full size file.
I've always used the "Internet for Dummies" approach, doing the simple things or whatever
some one else had already set up, never really trying to get into the more "difficult" stuff.
Who says you cain't teach an Old Dog new tricks ? You just gotta whup him with a stick now & agin.

Ok, that's good. I was kinda thinking the picture looked like Kevin ....
Something about shitting out books ....
Maybe Byron was stuck up in there ....
Grandson of a beloved author stuck in your colon ?
You're gonna have to teach me how to do all that ....

Actually, I think it's more a case of trying to find some way of coaxing Byro out of Kevvy's bum....
Maybe if we wave some beer and peanuts in front...er, well, behind Kevin?
(Or maybe we could stuff Kevin with some TexMex and wait for him to BLOW Byron out? )
