Well, thanks, but I'm not sure I did anything special ... and after years of not doing something, it's no problem at all to simply never begin.

Plus, I did manage to pick up another of my parents' shaky habits, to wit: drinking (albeit on a non-SandRider scale). I don't do it much anymore, though — I had one single MaiTai last weekend and I was deliciously buzzed for about 90 minutes. I'm a lightweight now.

I hear you Duke, I'm down to two drinks a week now, my tolerances are still high compared to others, I just don't care to push it anymore.

I did that back in Virginia. It turned out really well.

Hey, what do you know, it looks like The Hack is allowing people to register and post comments on his blahg on Wordfire.

He IS paying attention to criticism. (To wit, "A blog that doesn't allow comments isn't really a blog.")

To the casual/new observer, it looks like he's open to commentary. But you have to register to comment.

HA!

Any bets on how many critical posts will remain?

Sounds like a setup. KJA's allows everyone to join, allows comments, then the harsh criticism piles up, the KJASF fight back, eventually KJA has to step in and disallow comments altogether because of all the problems. And who will KJA blame for all that? Why, the "talifans" of course. :P

So let's not even try to join and just poke fun from afar. As usual.

Everyone who posts there is obviously one of his suckups. ;)

I can't even fathom wasting the time to sign up.

At the slightest hint of criticism, no matter how justified, the ban-stick would come out. Total waste of time.
