Wow. Experimentation on monkeys is not unheard of, but I've never read anything about injecting them with genes before. That's rather amazing that it took and was passed on.

I had heard of the glow in the dark kittens or something similar, but the monkeys passing the gene on was what I thought made it newsworthy.

I feel I'm pretty open-minded about various research projects these days, but I'm really disgusted by the thought of researchers having sex with monkeys.
