Yes, the treachery done to the original books...

I usually see commercials for romance adventures involving vampires. The whole concept is laughable.

Why should the people who put the advertising crap together know any more than the person/people(?!) who put the crap books together? ;)

This is almost as cheap as the animations they came up with for the Sandworms interview. But nothing can ever surpass the completely clutzy stuff in the Hunters one.

(Will have to find a link later, but does anyone remember that one? I remember something like a Fremen riding a moped and a sandworm jumping up out of the sand and flying through the air like one of those surprise springy snake practical-joke things that pop out of a can ... what are those called? It was so cheap looking and hokey. )

Yeah, weren't the worms articulated plastic pipe, painted silver? It looked incredibly lame. And the blue screen quality was appalling, like something from the seventies.

Bloody hell, that opening was pitiful, though the rest of the interview wasn't much better. At least the interviewer was a nice bit of eye-candy. Another sighting of 'The Jacket'

Um ... this ole dog done learned some new tricks this morning.

I downloaded the flv file from YouTube, exported the frames into jpgs, imported them into a QuickTime mov(ie), then opened it in iMovie and added a soundtrack, and finally saved it as an mp4.

My gawd ... I have the technology.

No the little shitty advertisment would be neat if it showed a Coriolis storm come across with the WOD book in front.. hit her in the head.. then shred her down to her bones!! that would be worthwhile!!

No, not a real earthworm, but one of the limited edition gummi worms.
