TehKJA is left in the cold? Maybe I shouldn't have gotten my account locked or something.

But that's pretty cool. Nice catch. :D

Hey, HE came back and replied to our comments. Definitely no KJA fan.

I think I like HIM/them. :)

[Edit: Oops! SHE was a HE. ]

Damn, that's actually pretty cool. The OH are being acknowledged everywhere now! And the author seems to be siding even more with the OH after SC's comments. 8)

Read the article. Same argument I've heard before in thousands of different forums and subjects (public figure = you should respect by default). Bullshit. Try doing something worthy of respect other than continuing to breathe for 12 months and then we'll talk about "respect" for KJA.

we do seem to be winning the hearts & minds ...

I was going to comment here that this article had more comments
than all the other articles combined, but that's just the way we
pile-on once a link has been posted here.

but then I read the comment from Renai on the chiggerblog
saying that the site is only 2-weeks old, so we're probably the
first "group" to discover it ...

OH Bump !

And I'm sure the SandChigger would rather not have his Real Name (I don't know how to
do the little TM thing..) bandied about, but he's done been linked over at Amazon, too ...

the Price of Fame, buddy .....

™™™™™™™™

(option-2, if you're using the world's most advanced operating system)

I was throwing in a little 1998-era Mac versus Windows humor for you, there. I meant that the ™ symbol is produced with option-2 if you are using a Mac.

As for that other system ... no idea; don't want to know.

Chig, that paragraph you wrote about courage was masterful. We should keep that around here somewhere.

I musta been inspoored. :P

(Actually, I was just angry seeing the association of "courage" with KJA in any way. Plus my briefs had ridden up pretty high. :hand: )

Another excellent blog post against the McDune books has appeared from Adam Whitehead at his Wertzone site. I've long thought Adam to be one of the best reviewers of SF and Fantasy around, so this is naturally a great read.

"The new DUNE book, by the inventor of the Sun Crusher, which even hardcore Star Wars fans think sucked donkey balls."

Out-fucking-standing!

Wow, it just seems like there's more "haters" out there every day, huh, McKevin? You'd almost think there were more than "a handful" of them.

Ah, the Anderson/Herbert suckmonkey! :D

He posted something on the Suvudu site about just having seen the new Winds cover at whatever con was at the end of July.

Can anyone say "majorly out-of-loop suckfuckmonkey?"

We should organize articles and reviews into one topic that can be stickied for reference...

I agree, but I think what we need is a much more simple resource webpage connection here. Storing not only web links but the code of things that tend to be lost, removed, edited, or almost un-deleted. Blogs, reviews, original text of interactions with those who tend to remove it for stupidity's sake, comics like the one currently linked in my signature, .PDF's of things that perhaps are no longer copyrighted. I think we'd have some good suggestions, and for me knowing something was once linked in the Twitter Wars thread can mean I'm in for collegiate research.
