Does he keep tabs on these people? 'Cause I noticed in some interview or other him give a pretty detailed "character sketch" of a detractor of NewDune, citing blogs, websites, forums, and such. Does he regularly visit sites like Jacurutu (sorry... no link though!!), and SandChigger's blog, SC's twitter, etc? I simply ask this because I very occasionally look at some of Chigger's stuff and he makes cracks at Kevin's supposed hiking, and Kevin seems to almost respond to it on his Twitter..!??

For example, almost all of his most recent posts have been extremely detailed hiking posts... prompted by taunts of Orthodox Herbertarians (I haven't really looked through Jacurutu, but I'm guessing he's responding to more than Chigger).

Anyways, my point is, What's with this?

He should try having a sense of humor 'bout the whole situation, or something, because trying to prove himself to said "Talibans", or "*******" or whatever he referred to them in 2006, will just elicit jeering, and such. Does he think trying to prove himself to the OHs (they seem mighty powerful for supposedly 4%...) will get him universal acceptance and love? I guess he's tried just ignoring them for a while, but hey, that never works, especially with big authors.

What's your view on his pandering to enemies?

Yep, Freakbanned, although in his email explaining it, Byron said it was because I referred to arnoldo and Bel Moulay as "pathetic,...and fools". I also called KJA spineless in a topic about The Special Forces. I don't think that this post had anything to do with my banning. :S

Gah, sorry - missed the word "my" in your first post. lol - but those people are all of those things

I think KJA is definitely more aware of the haters than ever before, especially with sales not what they used to be. He needs an enemy to explain it.

It does seem like he responds to our comments.
