Creepy parts

What parts of the series (including hackery) creeped you out? This could be creepy sex scenes, over-the-top violence or just plain weird stuff.

First place on my list would be Nayla's, er... "happy time"... after Duncan climbs up to the Royal Road.

That was definitely a major :puke: moment.

Haha, I thought that was epic.

The Baron perving on little boys was the only thing I thought was creepy.

Teg as the ghola child having his memories restored was pretty creepy. :puke:

The pre/inter/sequels (P.I.S.S.) weren't creepy, there were just ludicrous.

That wasn't really in the book was it? He only asked for the slave boy that looks like Paul brought to him, then was dead on the floor later.

...not that it being implied wasn't creepy.

The Baron's sexuality didn't creep me out too much, since all his boys were over 15 I believe. Still a horror to think about, if you can visualize his folds of hedonistic flesh billowing out, nearly crushing those he rapes... But I try not to. (There's some good interpretations out there showing him in all his obese glory)

The originals nothing over the top.. A-Tanks, Teg's Imprinting, Baron's Sexual preverence a few others.

The Jacket and fart blocker's stuff the list of creepy is just endless(no particular order, just as they come back to me):

Erasmus' vivisection laboratory

Brothel where Gurneys Sister was taken, used and killed.

The Ghola Baron in the Pain Chamber(serious altered states flash back) and all the other stuff the face dancers were doing to him trying to bring back his memories.

Fenrings getting it on in front of their little daughter.

8 little Waff gholas are created, then are killed one at a time trying to get their memorys to return.

On and on an on and on... :vomit:

The more I think about the crap the more I want to forget. POD was really the pinnacle of their crap, as far as Blood, Pain, death, and the other sadistic nonsense in those books.

I've just read about yet another 'sexual collision' between Duncan and Murbella, and the thought of Bellonda and the other BGs sitting there eating popcorn whilst watching them rutting away on the comeyes is a bit creepy. I think Frank Herbert had a mid-life crisis when he wrote this book, he had sex on the brain so much that probably typed it with no hands.

Becca is quite a big girl. I'm sure the reason Combover was so obsessed with Bellonda's weight in his shitty books is because he was trying to exorcise his demons.

If that's what he wanted to do to her, he oughta been taking her on those hiking outings of his.

Chasing the Cheetoz bag around the sofa!

It's not so much sick or whatever, but in Heretics when the old HM screws the commander guy, and he comes back all drug/sex-faced, that made me cringe a bit.

While I don't remember all the details (it's been a little while since I read past GEoD), the scenes involving imprinting were rather, shall we say, eye-opening when I read them as a ninth grader.

Sure you're not thinking of Heretics and Chapterhouse?

The only time we see an Imprinter doing her thing is Sheeana and Ghola-Teg in Chapterhouse.

Murbella and Duncan were in Heretics, but she wasn't an imprinter.

That's what I meant. I haven't read those in a while.
