I know they aren't, but the 'PC' people over here have begun using the two terms interchangably to the point that it's almost like they think that muslim is just another word to describe the ethnic group 'arabs'.

I myself am well aware of the difference between an ethnic group(Arabs), a religious group(Muslims) and an ethnoreligious group(Jews.)

Though personally I despise the fact that Jew is used to refer to both people of the jewish faith and of the ethnicity, so you can have an "Atheist jew", you can't however really have an "Atheist muslim."
