Princess Irulan wrote the greatest sci-fi novel of all time

Hello everybody. I tried to tell the other website the thing about Irulan, and they never activated my account. I was just trying to support the narrative presented in Paul of Dune, which is a steaming pile of sh*t.

I love Dune. I like books in all different genres, but have never lost myself in a book like I did in Dune. I first read it in High School, and have read it at least once a year ever since. I also love the rest of the Dune novels, especially Dune Messiah and Children of Dune.

I tried to give the prequels a chance, but found them to be unreadable. And then I was actually offended by Paul of Dune. I wouldn't have been able to keep my mouth shut on that other website. If that makes me a talifan, then I will accept that say: "Kevin J. Anderson should have his hands cut off!"

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I'm looking forward to participating in some conversations about Dune. :D

It was smart to save yourself some time and just come here. There's tumbleweeds blowing through that place, anyhow.

Wouldn't make any difference. He mouth-breathes perfect prose that is transcribed by his assistant.

Welcome! :orcs-buttshake:

It really is baffling how that's the official Dune forum. You certainly saved the trouble of being banned/Freakbanned from DumbNovels.

As Spica says in The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover, "No unnecessaries! No unnecessaries! Finish him off."

Here we pray for the Universe to expedite him speedily by the agency of a bear-shaped meteor. ;)

I'm liking the phrasing from the old review of BJ of Dune linked to recently,
the "Corporate Dune" Board ....

You have found the only place with real discussions about Dune, the occasional(:))kja-bashing and lots of stuff!
DN is just an empty husk where Byron jacks off over the hacks books; you wouldn't have liked that!

welcome to you

welcome to the sietch!

as for the hand thing...doesn't the dimwit use dicta-hicking? one argument that would support this - would be him being too lazy to actually write himself.
