Dune wasn't simply "unfurled," to quote myself previously - it was stretched and unwoven. They have managed to dethread, rewrite, and recreate an idol of unrighteous abomination.
It was so unsettling wasn't it, to find out what a hoax it had been - but even more frightening was the fact that Herbert's family has deluded themselves (or at least claim to have the best intentions) that they are keeping Frank' alive.
Frank is alive in the pages of his own work and he always will be. He will never be alive in the way they see it - which is abusing his work, ripping it out of his own artistic choices, and throwing it up in the book market air to compete with the likes of George Lucas and other scifi franchises.
I like you already.
Welcome to the home of dissent - dissent against the Brian Herbert and KJA universe; dissent with the aim of preserving a great writer's artisitic integrity.
