GO FLYING MONKEY!
Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.

The hack is in Norwich tonight, barely 80 miles from where I am, shame I'm working. I swear I can smell the bastard from here - it's either him or there's out-ot-date meat in the house

I used to work with a guy from Norwich.
Now I don't like him anymore.

I need to find a way to get off work, even if I have to take the afternoon off !
The rest of the show seems interesting too, like "Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse" in a pub...
There is also the simple word "Drinking" on one of the schedules

I hope he comes to the Forbidden Planet in NYC sometime soon, cause I'll be there... I have a level of annoying-ness I doubt anyone here could match, and KJA will get a taste.

Okay, I gotta admit: that was pretty funny.

As for the hack I am quite aware that they'd boot me out if I did what I really would like to do; so I'd have to come up with a cunning plan.
Something that would, if not make a point, at least allow me some closure by knowing I did my little part...
And let's face it they won't be able to turn down that many people, I mean is there anyone that actually would want to read smellhole ?

I've run into ths hack & bobo twice, both in stores I wanted to keep patronizing, and still do to this day. But since then I've dreamed of engineering a meeting at a place I had no interest in, so I could tsel them how I really feel.

I think I heard in that podcast from a day or two ago that they are starting their Hellhole tour at U-Books in Seattle again.

Ypu wpuld tsel them hpw ypu feel?
Are you using the on-screen keyboard again?
(Btw, love the search term you used to find that post. )
So, Kevie has posted some pix. I thought at first that those Rogaine treatments must be working, but then they caught him at a terribly unflattering angle...
OH THE HUMANITY!
(Check out the full-sized version of the last picture, of him, in the blog post. It's reversed like some kind of negative. )
(And has he got him a snazzy new jackey?! )

Wow, that post covered all of Keith's greatest hits:
1. It started off with food.
2. And also mentioned booze.
3. It was full of completely superfluous travelogue nonsense that not even his preek tongue-in-ass minions would care about.
4. Kevin comes across like a queen.
5. Bobo Herbert is not mentioned at all.
6. It ended with "decompress." Seriously, that one gets used as much as "brainstorming" lately.
-- Submitted by TheDukester, who is a pretty good typist, even on the iPad keyboard. Woot!
(so is that three posts in a row via iPad? Pretty cool ...)

Re: KJA in London Friday 4th Feb 2011
The blogs are hilarious. He's taking ages to "sign/doodle" thirty copies of Hellhole for some limited edition bookshop. Clearly not used to actually using his hands for writing.
And so many copies of Hellhole in *trade paperback* made me perversely happy. Even a non-Dune book from *both Dune authors* doesn't merit a hardcover.
And I'm sure we've seen that jacket before. It's just not *the* jacket.
Yeah, here you go.

... in the desperate hope that they might be able to offload the crap if it was *signed*, at least. Some BIG NAME hack wrote:We grabbed a quick sandwich from the bookstore café for an abbreviated lunch, walked to another Waterstones in the downtown and signed their copies of HELLHOLE as well as their Seven Suns and Dune backlist.

I'm still very proud of The Quarry but … let's face it; in the end the real best way to sign off would have been with a great big rollicking Culture novel.

What about asking him if he can sign for Bobo cause I'm such a big fan of the Herberts ?
@Omph': isn't that against netiquette to mention you're posting while taking a dump ?
@Chig': damn what did I say this time ?
