I drink Franziskaner every now and then as well. It is a very nice German beer indeed. Here in Holland I can get it at the local supermarket.Robspierre wrote: But did you enjoy it? My favorite beer is spotted cow, but as far as I know you can only get it in Wisconsin and I live in Illinois. Mostly I drink 1839 at home bought from aldis. Not the best but better than local stuff at similar prices. When I'm out usually drink black and tans or Guinness. Spaten is also very good.
