noOB kid on the block
Hey all,
Big Dune fan here and have been for a while. Must admit that i read the prelude series on pure inertia before i had to stop torturing myself. Six years of research before a single word was written doesn't deserve what KJA and BH have done to the series. I see their work akin to Leonardo Da Vinci's son drawing arms and legs in crayon around the Mona Lisa then selling it as a full body portrait. So, no, i'm not a fan of the McDune books, and the frustration i feel at the garbage theyre churning out is only an indication of how much i enjoyed and respected the work that went into the original series. Those two have taught me one thing though. You can make it pretty far in this world if you have no shame. Anyways, enough about those ass clowns. This looks like a cool place and glad to be among Dune fan.

Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.

Re: noOB kid on the block
Thanks everyone. Been making myself at home in the politics section (for better or for worse)
Just read somewhere to keep it civil, so i will when it comes to KJA and BH, better yet, prolly won't even mention them at all.
Just finished a rereading of the series and was thinking of doing some dot connecting to sketch a dune 7 outline (hope that doesn't sound too obnoxious, just wanted an excuse to stick around the books some more before i put them down for another year or so). Anyone know what section to post that in?

Keeping it "civil" is flexible, just don't act like a troll.
As for the Politics forum, like the subtitle says, "abandon all sanity, ye who enter here".
