What is the difference between a total solar eclipse and an annular solar eclipse? Can any total solar eclipse be an annular eclipse? or is it vice versa?

Re: Solar Eclipse
In a total eclipse, the disk of the Sun is fully obscured by the Moon. In partial and annular eclipses only part of the Sun is obscured.
