Desert melons?
Hi everyone, I read the Dune novels over 20 years ago and I loved them. I dimly remember that there was a reference (perhaps an insult?) to a desert melon that would give its water to anyone, I think the idea being that if you would give your precious water to anyone then you were weak and defenseless. If I have remembered this correctly and such a thing was actually mentioned, can anyone tell me if there was a Fremen word for this melon? I'd be very grateful. Many thanks Sam

Welcome, Twice Welcome.
The word you're looking for is "Batigh". Leto gets called it several times in Children of Dune.
