Hello everyone! I'm glad to have found this forum. I started my journey to Arrakis relatively recently, in October 2012, when I picked up Dune at a train station for €10,- to take a peek at what so many people on the internet are talking about. This huge sci-fi epic, that ended prematurely but was absolutely worth the read. And so it was. I'm a bit of a slow reader, and I have read multiple other books in between but I finally finished Chapterhouse last month. Some parts of the books proved to be a struggle to get through, but I was captivated all the way. The scope of this series is so huge I just have to discuss it (or at least read discussion on it).
I couldn't really help myself but to have a look at Hunters of Dune. I was warned that the quality of Brian and Kevin's books were much less than Frank's original six, but I had to try. I didn't make it past ten pages really. Then I read the wikipedia summary of the book... well...
Anyway, I look forward to speculating on what Dune 7 could have been with you guys, and mainly reading what you guys think. I have been reading and posting on http://www.reddit.com/r/dune" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but I missed the structure that a forum offers, so I'm glad I found this.

Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.
