Hi, my name is Rodrigo, but u may call me Mizar.
I'm 30, from Rio, Brazil.
I'm amazed by the whole Dune saga and I'm really glad that i've found this forum since it's been quite hard to find ppl around for discussing such topics lol
Atm I'm still finishing Chapter House and the Bene Gesserit Sisterhood teachings are my biggest interest. I love Leto II as one the most brilliant characters ever created, I puke at the mention of the Tleilaxu and Duncan Idaho 45345435 gholas just make me zzzzzz.
I've also read the Dune prequels and, tho knowing this forum is an Orthodox Herbetarian one, I must say I'm quite fond of them even recognizing how comercial they are near Herbert's masterpiece.
Not sure yet if i'll risk the sequels, water worms, gholas and fantastic creatures such as futars just don't make mind.

Re: Hi
We have a prequels/sequels forum here but you might not get much civil discussion about them.
Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.

Re: Hi
lol
i've read it already
actually i checked most sections of the forum before joining
but i'm not here to discuss them, i would like actually to get into the subtleties of herbert's saga, like existencialism and the bene gesserit background
