Eww... I didn't think of that. I'll pass, but thanks for the offer.orald wrote:Is that offer open just for women?Freakzilla wrote:But just in case, my wife wouldn't mind.
*Be careful of what you say around pervs*
After thinking about it, she probably would mind if I was looking at pictures of naked guys.
Naked women, she's OK with.

LOL! I know I can never speak of Dune to any female. *Deep Sigh* Why do women like to read trashy things like romance novels? All I use them for is fire fuel!Freakzilla wrote:I was just kidding, it's seldom you run across female Dune fans. You can't blame us for getting a little excited.

Yes, lucky. I always wonder why women object to men looking at nude women online. For the life of me I'll never understand such thoughts. It'll always remain one of the mysteries of life....Rakis wrote:You're a lucky man, Freak...Naked women, she's OK with.
* Sorry all I just stopped by for a quickie. (That's quick-look-see. LOL) Promise to return tomorrow to go back to the discussions. *

My wife is the same way. I keep trying to sneak some SF into her pile, but no dice. And she has a stack of books like Shopgirl, Girl's Night Out and The Devil Wears Prada that I keep trying to take in and trade for SF at the used book store but she keeps catching me and giving me that evil stare of hers.A_Kalisandra_M wrote:LOL! I guess the way she sees it, it's better for me to get my fix at home, online than in an office affair or a strip club.A_Kalisandra_M wrote:Yes, lucky. Just because I'm married doesn't mean I can't appreciate a beautiful body.

I didn't mean to generalize (just in case this is a carry over from my comments in the other thread), it's just an observation that is more often the case than not. Most girls I know dislike sci-fi and I've never met any guys who reads romance novels. But just like there are plenty of guys who don't read sci-fi, I'm sure there are plenty of women who don't read romance novels.
I suppose it's not much different than film; most girls hate action films and most guys dread chick flicks

Enough with this politically-correct bullshit, please. It's not a streotype thing, it's the truth- most men have different tastes than women.GamePlayer wrote:I didn't mean to generalize (just in case this is a carry over from my comments in the other thread), it's just an observation that is more often the case than not. It's like you'll have to appologize for saying most men like only women and most women like only men.
All women have cooties though, that's true.
In memory of Perach, who suffered and died needlessly.

I don't, really. There's a few boards I go to, but nothing BSG specific about them. I've been to Ragnar but it's a little too big and organized for my tastes. PLUS, that place seems to be CRAWLING with Sharon/Helo shippers. GAH! SPIT! YUCK!! I hates them, I do! There's some TV blogs I occasionally read, or the SciFi forums. MOST of my info i get from Usenet.Mandy wrote:Too funny. Where do you hang out to talk BSG, Spicelon?Spicelon wrote:{Omphalos wrote:Dont listen to her. And watching the show, of course.
