Whoa!
That's showing for me as having been posted at 9:54 PM last night (it's now 2:11 AM). He called me a little after 8:00 and said they'd just gotten back from the hospital from the second false alarm in two days. If the timestamps are right, I guess they went back again.
Ouch.
He was pretty funny on the phone, though. Typical girl, he said. Says she'll be ready in 20 minutes and then takes two hours. Or more like two days in this case.

Man, I was lucky in that regard. For both of mine the ole tank said "my water broke, its time" and 4-6 hours later we had a baby. Like clockwork.

My poor wife was in labor for 40 hours the first time, with the giant baby I gave her. The second time the kid was even bigger, so they said "fuck it, give 'er a C-section!"

My wife cranks em out like a coke machine, no c-sections. When her water broke, you'd better have been in the hospital within an hour.

I should be getting into my new office by the 15th, so we're hoping to have a new podcast out by the end of March.
Haven't heard anything today and am hesitant to call in case it was another late evening false alarm and they're all beat...or she actually went into labor and he's beat.
(I guess I could call and see if the bairn answers. He's a riot on wheels.

Ah, girls are great until they reach puberty, then they're gonna break Daddy's heart. My mother had all boys, so she didn't get that experience. But I did. Still, I'd do it all over again.
Congrats Mr. Teg.

That's not sleeping, that's spice trance.
In memory of Perach, who suffered and died needlessly.
I wish I could have been with you that one last time.
