I'll try to make it a scrollable box this weekend.

It really pops! I like it.ragabash wrote:What do you all think of the font stuff I'm doing for the forum names on the main page? I've added a border and a drop shadow, but it may be too busy.
OMG that is so much better, THANK YOUragabash wrote:I got the smiley box to scroll. Unfortunately, there are some limitations:
There is one big long-ass THIS THREAD IS USELESS WITHOUT PICS smiley image that gets cut off due to the scroll bar appearing. It's a limitation of CSS, I'm not sure I can do anything about that. You can see the left hand side of the image for selecting, however.
I cannot exactly match the height of the smiley box to the height of the message text area. One is measured in pixels, the other in text lines; as far as I can tell, an exact match isn't possible for that reason. I set the smiley box to be 280 pixels high, which looks pretty close on my browser. But, different browsers have different HTML rendering engines, so YMMV.
Full disclosure: I am not a user interface expert. If anyone with CSS knowledge knows how to improve the site, please do chime in
Nobody knows what that one means.ragabash wrote:I'm not sure what you mean, can you take a screencap?
THe shadowing on "Jacurutu" on the right looks awesome.ragabash wrote:What do you all think of the font stuff I'm doing for the forum names on the main page? I've added a border and a drop shadow, but it may be too busy.
Huh, they render as the same colors in my browser. Can you post a screencap of both?Omphalos wrote:THe shadowing on "Jacurutu" on the right looks awesome.ragabash wrote:What do you all think of the font stuff I'm doing for the forum names on the main page? Shadowing on the forum topics is a bit dark. Makes it difficult to see the brown letters, whereas the white Jacurutu stands out because of it.
