Hello!
Came across this forum looking for some chapter summaries of God Emperor of Dune, as I had taken a break from it for awhile and wanted to refresh my memory of what has happened in the plot before I start it up again. I'm currently about halfway through my first read-through of it.
I didn't read Dune for the first time until after seeing Villeneuve's Dune Part 1, which got me so absolutely gripped on the world of Dune that I knew I had to experience the source material. Reading Dune was almost like a spiritual experience. I loved every page, the way FH writes, the concepts of precience, infinite possibilities, inner lives, religious power and worship, ecology, politics, the imperium, its all fantastic. I bought the other 5 books all at once when I was only partway through Dune. My excitement for the recent Dune Part 2 trailer reignited my desire to continue reading (that and the fact that I finally have time after a demanding semester of university), and here I am delving once again into the incredible world FH created.
The best part is, I still have 2 and a half books left to experience.
