Yeah, when it comes to "official reckoning" and trying to make it so just by saying it's so, I'm always reminded of Canute and the tides.
Let's just sing kumbaya and group hug, shall we? It's all OK. Every point of view is valid. It's all alright, it's all OK, run in the light, chilluns.

Come on now, no one expects that.
"There can be no peace!" remember?
I just don't think I can bring myself to hate anyone over their reading preferences is all. I get pissed in the context of the topic, sure, but I leave it there. I certainly wouldn't get shitty with any of you if we met at a Dune Convention based on literary opinions.

No, she's crazy about Omph.
She wants him.
Which is great, actually, because it means she's finally stopped sending me cybersex proposals.
Oh, crap! I think I forgot to mention this with all my computer problems a week or two ago:
Someone in her home town who hates her even more than we do sent me some pix of her! I'm just waiting for the proper occasion to post them!

I am glad I will never find out whether that is true or not.SandChigger wrote:Nah.
Turns out she's even more "fun" to know in real life.

You might not get a pass if you've chosen the handle of Secher_Nbiw... due to it being too similar to mine... I know a couple of boards that don't allow nicknames to be too similar...Secher_Nbiw wrote: meh, it's not like i'm actually bothered, i only wanted to see what all the fuss was about, and see what fun i could have

I didnt think i needed to make a topic for this so here i post it.
Yes i went to DN and posted this topic:
"Freakzilla, the man that understands Dune"
"Freakzilla's password has been changed in what i can only call a childish act; either ban him or admit him Byron, be a man.
Freak as always been a nice guy and his only crimes were to express his opinions. He has always helped me out whenever i had doubts about the plot in the books and he's a person with a good sence of humor.
Thruth is that without him, this forum is empty of worth and interest.
Yes i am a friend of Freakzilla as well as Omphalos, SandChigger and Lisan Al-Gaib; people that stood up to this den of censorship and marketing scams.
Here's to you my friends. Adios."
So that's it folks, i'm officially out of that place.
