It's no wonder a stand alone complex like Annonymous rose, and i fucking support it. I've always said that human beings in general should learn tolerance but not without sacrificing reason. When a cult like scientology rears it's head and tries to take things over and implement certain and illogical ideas into generalization, for me my friends thats a crime against humanity itself.
The only way retardation can win is if sane people do nothing.

I just want to set the record straight: I thought the cop was a prostitute.

I had the right to remain silent - but not the ability.

Mine's getting bigger.
The only things getting bigger are my nose and my ears, unfortunately. Why can't a certain other extremity grow with age? :(

Someone has been watching horrible actresses on late night TV.

I'm never quite sure whether I'm supposed to laugh at them or just let out an exasperated sigh. :?

The most recent Amazon review is a 1-star post from a top-500 reviewer. Nice.

There's a guy who knows how to play Amazon's silly games. That one will be up there forever.

Where are you seeing one star? It's a two-star review, if you mean the one by "NeuroSplicer". (59 total, 7 one-stars, right?)

It's another one of those where the reviewer basically slags it off but then doesn't give it the one star it deserves. :?

Whoops ... yes, that's the one. I could have sworn it was one star. LensCrafters, here I come.

:D

Kinda had me worried there for a minute, thinking I might have to go back!

(And it's a bit more of a hike for me to get to the nearest LensCrafters, wot? ;) )

Just dictate something on your way. You'd be surpirsed how much you can get done. :P

A 2 star that stays up, is better than a 1 star that gets deleted.

But nothing beats an honest zero-star review.

I couldn't remember which thread(s) you guys were talking about Harriet Klausner in.. but I figured this one would be as good as any. :)

WOW. Can you imagine what Kevin or Merritt would've done with that review ? I've never read Charles Stross, but give that man a cookie.

This Klausner sounds like the ultimate scam; a corporate plant with the facade of a grassroots champion. Even if she is her own person, her non-reviews are effectively useless from any qualitative point of view. But hey, we live in the era where quantity is apparently all that matters to get published. Go Harriet! You do the lamest of humanity proud :)

It's a complete scam; everything about ol' Harriet is a lie.

Amazon must share the blame, though. They are unwilling to change their ridiculous review system despite the overwhelming evidence of how broken it is.
