So glad you all enjoyed it. These were probably the most fun to make of all my parodies so far, with perhaps the exception of the "Talifan" fragrance demotivator. The ideas came to me in a flurry of inspiration and I literally "pumped em out" in about 2-3 days. Guess my brain was "exploding with ideas" just like KJA, but the result was much more entertaining

B-Herb just sounds like a cheesy rap artist name. It's not taken from anyone. Kay-Jay-Eh is also just something stupid sounding, though I suppose one might argue that the phonetic name from "M&M" to "eminem" might be an applicable analogy. Big-B rips off Jay-Z, Oblivious K.J.A. rips off Notorious B.I.G. and Dr. KJA rips off Dr. Dre.
The first parody is from
American Gangster by Jay-Z
The second parody is from
Tha Doggfather by Snoop Doggy Dog
The third is actually a poster for the movie
Get Rich or Die Tryin' starring 50 Cent but it's also a Soundtrack so it works.
The fourth and fifth albums are just No Limit Records-style originals with as much cheese as I could stuff in them.
The last album is from
The Chronic by Dr. Dre

I love these because they simultaneously spoof Hip Hop and Kevin and Brian.
But what about Kja Rule?

Well, I couldn't do them all. Gotta leave some material should I get motivated to make more

I like old hip hip, and some of the more intellegent new stuff. Can't say it's my favorite genre by any stretch though.

It's likely Rock will never be displaced as my favorite music genre. The tastes created in my formative years are hard to break. But I just can't listen to the same stuff over and over. I get bored so easily. For better or worse, I have to experiment by trying new music. Hip Hop was simply the next thing available.

I get the same thing, I've ended up listening to a lot of classical punjabi lately, and some experimental bowed string nonsense has made it's way into my list, I really want to be listening to classical but haven't found much that I like so far
. Even my tastes for metal have largely left the more common styles and into the more progressive/experimental sub-genres.
